Federal National Party leader David Littleproud is calling for a new approach to helping troubled WA kids, saying locking them up wasn’t the solution.

On the back of two deaths in WA’s juvenile jails in the last 10 months — the latest on Friday when a 17-year-old was found ***** in his cell at Banksia Hill Detention Centre — Mr Littleproud said it was everyone’s responsibility to put kids on the right path.
