The officer was looking for any campers that may have been caught up in the wildfire, when conditions quickly worsened. The sheriff’s office said the ongoing *****, known as the Remington *****, is the largest of the season, blazing over 196,000 acres. The wildfire originated in Wyoming; however, it spread rapidly due to strong winds and dry conditions. There have been no reports of serious injuries.
