It’ll probably happen, but given their terrible track record, it’s going to be a rushed sloppy port.

I can see it now, half the fans will make excuses for Konami (“I’m just happy to play the game, even though its worse than the original release.”)

Then the other half will complain about the substandard port. The MGS fan base will go back and forth arguing about it for days, if not years. When all of it could have been avoided if Konami had just done their job properly and released Master Collection Vol. 2 in a finished state.
