Shire of Beverley councillors have unanimously approved a Gypsy Jokers-run burnout event to be held next month, despite WA Police urging they ******* the dirt drags event over its links to the ********* gang.

Police Commissioner Col Blanch urged the council to deny the bikie gang its planning application for Westdale Dirt Drags — which has been running for more than a decade.
