Parachutist rushed to hospital with ‘life-threatening injuries’ after incident west of Brisbane

A parachutist has been rushed to hospital with “life-threatening injuries” following an incident west of Brisbane.

Emergency services were called to a property in Tarawera, about 400km west of Brisbane, about 8am on Tuesday.

Paramedics said they were assessing “a patient for life-threatening injuries following a parachuting incident”.

Two ambulance crews, including a rescue helicopter, and the Forensic ****** Unit were reportedly also called.
