The upcoming free-to-play hero shooter tied to the Marvel IP, Marvel Rivals, is not currently planned to release on the Nintendo Switch or mobile devices.

, game director Thaddeus Sasser spills the beans that there are “no discussions” around the game getting introduced to new platforms. This isn’t too shocking considering a mobile version would need something completely new while its Switch port would be releasing on old hardware that lags behind the current-gen.

It should be noted that while ports aren’t in the game’s near future, it’s all-too-possible that it could find itself on Nintendo’s new hardware when it launches… whenever that actually is.
