Saber Interactive has widespread attention in the gaming community and has finally something to show after years of development. Fans were captivated by the futuristic nature of Space Marine 2 and thought it would be the perfect game to be featured in a crossover with Helldivers 2. Both video games are about intergalactic warfare and could bring both player bases together.

The game is scheduled to be released on September 9 and the studio is making its rounds to distribute tidbits of information. The developers gave a handful of influencers and content creators early access, and some players are convinced that Saber Interactive isn’t sharing everything all in one go and is strategically saving the best stuff for last. The game offers other modes like PVP outside the main story to give players enough time to breathe and explore other content.

The campaign is a decent length; however, some players are skeptical about the entertainment factor and would prefer a New Game Plus mode. Not everyone is inclined to play with or against other players in a competitive nature, this will encourage players to play as they want to without being pressured.

No matter the level of hype, it is best if the game developers thought a few steps ahead and added other content that would pique the interest of the player base. Perhaps players will power through the campaign immediately on launch day and have nothing to do afterward, which is a perfect segue to the Operations mode that will keep a group of friends entertained for hours.

Many developers tend to go overboard and overload a game with pointless content and leave the players overwhelmed with activities. Saber Interactive aims to balance the campaign with countless side-content for players to do with friends.

If a game is too long, players will feel it is being dragged and if it is too short without other content, players assume it is not worth the price on the tag. It is hard to find the perfect balance.
