Having worked together in the past, these two ********* creatives are friends and very popular in the industry. Suda51, the creator of games like No More Heroes, Shadows of the Damned, and more, often collaborates with the creator of Resident Evil, Shinji Mikami.

During a recent interview, Suda51 revealed that Shinji Mikami’s favorite game is **** Hand. He even joked about how they should jointly acquire the rights to this game and make a new version. This title is unique because it has many mechanics that could easily fit into a Suda51 game.

Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami is known for being quite experimental with certain titles he has worked on in the past. Recently, Mikami collaborated with Xbox at the now-closed Tango Gameworks studio, where he worked on his last project, The Evil Within.

Mikami enjoys collaborating with the popular and quirky Suda51, who always has very original games to offer. These two could make a ton of fans happy.

When asked about his favorite Mikami game during a recent interview in which they were both present in the same room, Suda51 responded with **** Hand.

Released in 2006 for the PS2 and PS3, this game featured unique mechanics that required manual punching and precise timing. Another thing Suda51 joked about was that they should acquire the rights to this title and make a new version together.

Unsurprisingly, this interview ended up on social media platforms like X, and fans were quick to get excited about the possibility. Over the years, **** Hand has become a cult classic, and any title from these two makes players hopeful.

Both creatives worked together on another cult classic called Killer7, and they’ve always wanted to collaborate again on another great project of this style. This could be the perfect opportunity.

For now, Shinji Mikami has not clarified what he is working on or if he has any projects in mind for the coming years. Grasshopper Manufacture Inc., Suda51’s own studio, is actively remastering his past games and developing new IPs for release in the coming years.

In October, Suda51 will release the remaster of Shadows of the Damned, another of his cult games from the PlayStation 3 generation.

Due to his dissatisfaction with recent industry handling, the Resident Evil creator has distanced himself significantly.

His collaboration with Bethesda was not what he expected, and he even said that they only put his name on the projects without him actively participating. It seems that this industry veteran is just looking for the opportunity to work on a completely original project.
