After Skipping Gamescom, PlayStation Has Confirmed Its Attendance At TGS 2024

Sony skipped the Gamescom 2024 being held in Cologne, Germany, and fans were left wondering what the company was trying to do. It has now been announced that it will be present at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS 2024).

The ********* gaming expo is set to take place next month, between September 26 and September 29. As far as the lineups for a show go, nothing announced is surprising but will be totally worth the time for PlayStation fans.

that it will be at the event, saying that “Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) will be exhibiting a PlayStation booth” at the event.

It was also said that the PlayStation booth will have two games on display that will be playable at the event. The first game is the upcoming title Astro ****, which is scheduled to launch on September 6, and Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds, which will be launched sometime in 2025 for PlayStation 5.

Fans who will be playing Astro **** at the PlayStation booth on September 28th and 29th will also be able to get their hands on a real-life Gacha machine based on the style in the Astro **** game. Players can also try to get an original Astro **** T-shirt using the giant Gacha machine.

The Monster Hunter franchise is very popular in the region, and PlayStation will allow fans to try out the upcoming title, Monster Hunter Wilds, at its booth. Players trying out the game at the PlayStation booth will get an original PlayStation 5 Monster Hunter Wilds promotional acrylic keychain.

The absence of Hideo Kojima’s ****** Stranding 2: On the Beach at Gamescom 2024 bugged many, as fans were hoping to get to know more about the game. PlayStation has announced that a stage event for ****** Stranding 2: On the Beach has been scheduled for 10:30 on Sunday, September 29th.

The event titled ‘PlayStation Presents ****** Stranding 2: On the Beach Special Stage,’ will be attended by game directors Hideo Kojima and Daichi Miura, as well as several other guests, including Kenjiro Tsuda, ***** Mizuki, Tomokazu Sugita, Shion Wakayama, and Nicolas Winding Refn.

Sony will also host several other guests on a stage adjacent to the booth, talking about the upcoming PS4 and PS5 games under the theme ‘PLAY! PLAY! PLAY! Ichi-yu-nyu-soul.’ This will be livestreamed for all fans via the official PlayStation
