NSW Police charge woman with alleged Darkwood DV ******* after man’s body found in surfboard bag

A woman is in custody for the alleged domestic ********* ******* of a man.

NSW Police arrested and charged the 35-year-old woman after a man’s body was discovered in a surfboard bag in the driveway of a rural property in Darkwood, about 67km west of Coffs Harbour, in the North Coast region of the state.

Emergency services attended the property on Thursday about 7pm on reports a body had been found there.

Officers from the Coffs and Clarence Police District found the body of a 62-year-old man in the bag.

A ****** scene was established and the police launched Strike Force Nome to investigate the ******.

“Following extensive inquiries, about 2.10pm yesterday, officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District arrested a 35-year-old woman on Loftus Street, Nambucca Heads,” the police said on Saturday.

“She was taken to Macksville Police Station where she was charged with ******* (domestic *********).

“Police will be alleging in court the woman and man were known to each other.

“She has been refused bail overnight to appear at Port Macquarie Local Court today.”
