***** crews, police respond to Las Vegas hotel *****, multiple floors evacuated, police say

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — ***** crews and police have responded and are evacuating a Las Vegas hotel after a ***** Thursday evening, according to Metro police.

The Clark County ***** Department and Metro police responded around 7:50 p.m. to the Renaissance Hotel near Paradise and Desert Inn roads after a report of a ***** near the roof, police said.

When crews arrived they found smoke coming from the roof where they found a small ***** of material on the roof. The ***** was quickly extinguished, CCFD said.

As a precautionary measure, the two floors below the ***** were evacuated, according to CCFD. No injuries were reported and the cause and dollar loos have yet to be determined.

Hotel staff and guests told 8 News Now that around 9 p.m. normal check-in resumed however there was a backlog and a long wait time.
