From Spine To Atomfall, Here Is Everything Shown During The Gamescom 2024 Future Games Show

Spine is an upcoming action-packed video game that mixes fluid, acrobatic combat with the lethality of point-blank gunshots. It was among all of the amazing projects that were showcased at the Gamescom 2024 Future Games Show.

The showcase here some new IPs and some familiar ones. All of them looked intriguing and some will even leave you enchanted. Here is a quick rundown of every project that graced the Future Games Show.

Mars Attracts

The World Premiere for Mars Attracts was the first reveal at the Gamescom 2024 Future Games Show. The game is a park creation game, similar to Parkitekt, but its sci-fi setting sets it apart from its peers. The game is coming in 2025 and can be wishlisted on Steam now!

Spine

One of the most exciting games revealed during the Future Games Show 2024 was Spine. The game features amazing combat which seems inspired from movies like John Wick. The game hits the ground running (and jumping) soon for all major consoles and PC.

The Explorator

A game with an off-beat but appealing art design is always likely to pique one’s curiosity. If the game mixes adventure, exploration, lost city of Atlantis and adds a touch of first-person *********, it only gets better.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII’s Live-Action Trailer

One of the biggest names in the 4X genre, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII made an appearance in the form of a live-action trailer. The game’s developer team, Firaxis Games, then shared their experience of working on the game.

****** Myth: Wukong is the game that has taken over Steam, the world’s most popular PC video game platform. Developed by ******** developer Game Science, the game received a final launch trailer.

Croak

Monaco 2

A sequel to a co-op indie heisting game, the game allows one to get their best mates and hit the heisting jackpot. Heisters should be ready as the game drops on PC soon.

Ravenswatch

In a co-op action roguelike title, one shoulders the responsibility of saving a corrupt world. Ready to meet the challenge? in Ravenswatch drops on September 26 for PC and Fall 2024 for consoles.

Zero Space

If one thinks that handling a corrupted task is a biggie, Zero Space takes this further. The RTS game has a campaign where every little decision has the power to change the face of an entire galaxy. The game will initiate its landing protocol on PC soon.

Will: Follow The Light

A first-person adventure game that will test your perseverance and survival skills, Will: Follow The Light will throw multiple cataclysms in your face. The game will launch in 2025 for all major platforms. Available to wishlist on Steam now.

Greedfall 2: The Dying World

A sequel to the 2019 action RPG, the game expands on everything that its predecessor offered. An intense gameplay trailer showed how the game will unfold. The game enters Early Access on September 2024.

Akimbot

Akimbot is an upcoming 3D platformer and shooter that seems to be heavily inspired by Ratchet and Clank. The game releases for PCs and Consoles on August 29, 2024.

Phantom Line

Phantom Line made a very good first impression at the Gamescom Future Games Show. The first-person shooter game blends incredible visuals with scary encounters. The game launches on PC soon.

Caravan Sandwitch

This next third-person sci-fi adventure title shown at Gamescom 2024 Future Games Show was Caravan Sandwitch. will be one to watch out for. Having driving as one of the central elements of the gameplay loop the game releases on PC soon.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2

One of the most popular fantasy IPs in the world, Lord of the Rings, had a successful run at Prime Video. The TV series is now renewed for a second season and launches in August 2029.

Shortly after this spot, there was a dedicated segment for upcoming fantasy games including the likes of Metaphor Re: Fantazio, Monster Hunter Wilds, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Fable.

Rogue Waters

Pirate games are back! Rogue Water is a rogue-lite title based in a world where Pirates thrive. Engage in sword battle, deploy tactics, and dominate in naval combat when the title is released on PC on September 30, 2024.

Dwarven Realms

Write your tale with your ******’s blood in Dwarven Realms. With in-depth crafting and high-octane battles. The game is currently in early access and launches on September 27.

Dimensions

Cute graphics meet awesome cutscenes and stacked decks in Dimensionals, play your cards right and emerge victorious. The game’s demo is available on Steam.

DFUSE

Gear up and ****** with your squad in DFUSE. The game’s trailer showed impressive visuals and a camera angle similar to Valve’s Counter-Strike. The game’s trailer confirms that the game will enter Closed Alpha in October.

Bloomtown: A Different Story

With an old-school, pixelated art style reminiscent of Game Boy Advance Pokémon games, Bloomtown isn’t a ****** tale but an unsettling affair. The game launches on PC and consoles in September.

Atomfall

An FPS adventure title set in the mid-20th century, the game follows the story of a nuclear disaster. Experience Atomfall on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox in 2025.

• A co-op survival game called Lost Skiies also made its way to the showcase. The game seems to be all about flying around and finding out!
• Then there was an FGS spotlight montage covering titles like Endzone 2, Tormenture, Swap/Meat, Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age, Stormforge, and Dark Sky.
• An action platformer called Maui the Shapeshifter was showcased. The game allows one to defeat enemies by turning into different beasts.
• A grim and grotesque cult simulator (yes, a cult simulator) going by the name Worshippers of Cthulhu launches on October 21, 2024.
• A 2D Action Adventure based on ********* mythology called The Spirit of the Samurai will be released in Fall 2024 for PC.
• Do your bit and ****** the bugs in Starship Troopers Extermination. The game is in early access on PC and will be released wholly on October 11, 2024.

• Los Pingheros puts one in the shoes of Penguins, push your opponents into freezing waters in this cute little party game.
• Four Indie games formed the Indie Elevator Pitch spot including ****** Story, Projected Dreams, SwordAI, and Haunted Paws.
• Traverse through tough passages and solve puzzles in Bionic Bay.
• An action Roguelike with a modular spell-crafting system Echoes of Mystralia is an action roguelike coming to PC soon.
• Nightmare House the Half-Life 2 mod is getting a standalone remake that will be released in 2025.
• **** Save Birmingham is an open-world zombie survival game set in 14th-century Birmingham.
• A Fantasy RPG titled Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch launches into early access in November 2024, a demo is available to play on Steam.
• Section 13 is a roguelike top-down shooter launching in 2025 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

• The Stone of Madness is a real-time stealth tactics game in which the player takes control of five inmates. The game is played from an isometric perspective.
• A game with an incredibly unique art style and presentation Beyond Galaxyland is an RPG set in the future but with retro graphics. The game launches on PC and Console on September 24.
• Tiny Glade, Miniatures, Anima Flux, Office ******, and Wilmot Works It Out were featured in the Ones to Play montage.
• Steamworld Heist 2 is the sequel to the 2015 turn-based shooter that released soon for PCs and consoles.
• Not a lot of titles allow you to play as a creature other than humans. Sunset Hills is an exception allowing you to go through an adventure as a cute puppy having a penchant for writing.
• A game that is as unique as its name, PVKK: Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant allows one to simulate what it feels like to be in a bunker.

• One of the most creative and humorous trailers with intentionally corny voiceovers was for Squirrel With a ****. The game is exactly what it sounds like one plays as the Chuck Norris of Squirrels.
• A unique greyscale horror experience, One-Eyed Linkho also premiered in the showcase. The game releases on Steam, soon.
• A cinematic horror adventure going by Retrieval also graced the showcase, showcasing incredible visuals and a horrifying setting.

• The fun didn’t end here for the event, Survival Machine opened the Expansion Pack. A game in which one will build their fortress on wheels with their buddies. The game releases on PC, soon.
• A physics based driving video game, Truckful, was also coming for people who like long and rewarding journeys.
• Build your own metropolis and create memories in Memoriapolis, an immersive city-builder.
• A heart pounding VR game, Skydance‘s Behemoth launches on November 14.

• Platformer fans rejoice as another platformer with cartoonish graphics, Nikoderiko: The Magic World  comes to consoles in October.
• This was followed by the Future Games Show Light Up Games Expansion Pack Montage containing Blackthorn Arena: Reforged, ***** the Depths and Huaxia: Warring States.
• Blending multiple genres like ARPG MOBA and tower defence, Wardens Rising launches soon to PC and consoles.
• For all the Soulsborne enthusiasts comes Mandragora for PC and consoles in 2024.
• Finally, a psychological horro video game Post Trauma launches on PC and Consoles on October 29.
