Called the Nevera R, the even more ********* EV packs increased power, improved aerodynamics, and advanced brakes to help it achieve greater performance figures than that of its standard counterpart. Just 40 examples will be built. Compared to the ‘standard’ 1408kW Nevera, power output is up by 163kW to 1571kW, which hasn’t changed its 1.81-second 0-100km/h sprint time, but has cut more than half a second from its 0-300km/h figure, now achieved in just 8.66 seconds. Designed with the intention of primarily improving cornering ability, the Nevera R is claimed to be lighter than its sibling, while featuring more aerodynamic aids. Supporting its performance orientation, the Nevera R packs a large fixed rear wing and an “aggressive aero package” with a new large diffuser, which is said to boost downforce by 15 per cent and improve aerodynamic efficiency by 10 per cent. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Camera IconSupplied Credit: CarExpert Its drivetrain also features the latest in all-wheel torque vectoring to maximise the potential of its high-performance tyres, while its improved aerodynamics are intended to improve “driving excitement on twisty B roads and occasional track use”. It has improved Michelin Cup 2 tyres for a 10 per cent reduction in understeer and a five per cent increase in lateral grip, while its drift mode has been adjusted for the new tyres alongside a refined steering system. A 108kWh battery pack feeds the four electric motors, with stopping power provided by carbon ceramic brakes with a silicone matrix layer for improved braking performance, cooling, and durability.
