Silent Hill-Like ‘Hollowbody’ Launching September 12

If you’ve had a hankering to experience a classic horror title like Silent Hill but reimagined for a modern audience and set in an abandoned British city, then look no further than Hollowbody. This terrifying, retro-themed short title boasts an immersive story and a stellar setting, taking the successful formula of early 2000s horror games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil and creating something fresh and innovative.

It has just been confirmed by the developer, Headware Games, that Hollowbody will be released on PC on September 12.

If you were ever a fan of these dingy, eerie horror titles of the late PS1 and early PS2 eras, you’d love this:

It’s not particularly lengthy, with Headware having confirmed that a playthrough will last around five hours, but it promises to be tense, disturbing, and unforgettable. It has been dubbed an ‘homage to the survival horror genre’ by the solo developer.

In Hollowbody, players assume control of Mica, an underworld-dwelling individual hunting desperately for her lost partner, Sasha. While searching for Sasha, Mica finds herself trapped in the exclusion zone of an overrun, abandoned British city, and it’s up to the player to figure out how they can escape before it’s too late.
