Video shows 2 toddlers in diapers, distraught in the middle of Texas highway after ******

Two toddlers wearing nothing but diapers were spotted in the middle of a Texas highway following a two-car ******, according to authorities and video obtained by USA TODAY.

The major ****** occurred Tuesday on the main lanes of Interstate 10 East Freeway in Freeport, Texas,

. The ****** involved two cars, with one of the vehicles flipping over several times causing ejection, the sheriff added.

The car that flipped over was occupied by one ****** and two children, who were all taken to a hospital, according to Gonzalez. The people in the other vehicle were not injured, he said.

Gonzalez did not say how old the children in the vehicle were, or give details on their or the ******’s condition.

USA TODAY contacted the Harris County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday but has not received a response.

that he witnessed the wreck while he was driving home.

“I thought they actually passed away. I thought they were *****,” Cordova said.

Cordova soon realized that everyone in the vehicle did not **** when he saw the toddlers. Toward the end of the video, two males can be seen attending to and comforting the children.
