A repeat ****** driver who ******* a 21-year-old man as he helped his rideshare driver change a tyre on the side of the Mitchell Freeway is set to be released on parole next week after two years behind bars.

Seng Lee Tan, 39, was twice the legal blood alcohol limit when it is believed he fell asleep at the wheel, crossed into the emergency lane of the Mitchell Freeway and fatally hit Jack McCormack in August 2021.
