Historically, the wipe always hits on a Thursday, and at the same time, the Battlestate Games usually announce the exact date of the wipe one or two days before the wipe. This means that August 15 or 16 is out of the question, and it does make sense that it won’t hit on those days because the pre-wipe event just started.
