Alan Wake 2 Dev Claps Back at Overly Cautious Gamers Worrying about Remedy’s Future

Remedy Entertainment, the developer behind the popular title Alan Wake 2, has been working on its upcoming titles after the impressive success of its horror title. The company has several projects in the pipeline, and one of those titles is a co-op multiplayer game codename Project Condor.

There have been a lot of talks about live service games, and with the ******** of many of those, the players are more worried about the studio. Remedy Entertainment has now come forward and said that the studio knows the challenges of the genre but is prepared for whatever comes its way.

Alan Wake 2 developer Remedy addresses concerns over its future with multiplayer games.

Project Condor is a four-player co-op title set in the Control universe and is currently said to be in the “proof-of-concept” stage. With growing talks about the live-service games and how they are nothing but a cash-grabbing move from the companies and how bad some of these games turn out to be, players have been talking about Remedy’s future with multiple titles.

Remedy has now made it clear to gamers that it knows what it takes to break into the multiplayer scene. The communications director at Remedy, Thomas Puha took to X/

and said that the studio is “well aware” of challenges in the multiplayer space and has realistic expectations, “outside the company expectations.”

He further added that one can never “plan and prepare” for all the games and just have to “roll with the punches,” before saying that every game that is published in these times is a “small miracle.”

This has eased the Remedy fans a bit, who were worried about the studio and appreciated Puha for addressing it. The fans said it’s refreshing to hear what the studio is set out for, and it’s good that it wants to try new things.

Remedy Entertainment Wants to Expand Its Player Base

The studio said it’s aware of the challenges and wants to expand its audience with the multiplayer titles.

In another tweet, Thomas Puha said that there is always concern about the studio’s multiplayer, such as Condor, and why the studio is developing it. He also added that it is also wondered if it’s a game the players want.

Puha adds that it is actually the game for the fans the studio doesn’t have yet, as it needs to “grow the audience” and welcomes the challenge. Puha said that developing different types of games is “good, if super challenging,” despite the developers knowing to “stick to mostly what we know best and keep improving on that.”

Fans have appreciated this saying that it’s good to grow the player base and cater to players who want to try out different games other than single-player titles. Project Condor has been in development for nearly three years, but nothing has been known so far about the game.

Given that the studio is now talking about it and addressing players’ concerns, there might be some information coming soon; until then, all the players can do is wait.
