The company has several projects in the pipeline, and one of those titles is a co-op multiplayer game codename Project Condor. There have been a lot of talks about live service games, and with the ******** of many of those, the players are more worried about the studio. Project Condor is a four-player co-op title set in the Control universe and is currently said to be in the “proof-of-concept” stage. With growing talks about the live-service games and how they are nothing but a cash-grabbing move from the companies and how bad some of these games turn out to be, players have been talking about Remedy’s future with multiple titles. Remedy has now made it clear to gamers that it knows what it takes to break into the multiplayer scene. He also added that it is also wondered if it’s a game the players want. Puha adds that it is actually the game for the fans the studio doesn’t have yet, as it needs to “grow the audience” and welcomes the challenge. Puha said that developing different types of games is “good, if super challenging,” despite the developers knowing to “stick to mostly what we know best and keep improving on that.” A thing I find fascinating is whenever our WIP multiplayer stuff gets mentioned like Condor from our financial report last week, is some level of concern around why and do our fans want it. They way I look at is, its for fans we dont have yet! We need to grow our audience and I… — Thomas Puha (@RiotRMD) This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Fans have appreciated this saying that it’s good to grow the player base and cater to players who want to try out different games other than single-player titles. Project Condor has been in development for nearly three years, but nothing has been known so far about the game. Given that the studio is now talking about it and addressing players’ concerns, there might be some information coming soon; until then, all the players can do is wait.
