Diamond Member Pelican Press 0 Posted April 2 Diamond Member Share Posted April 2 Star Fox artist’s ‘Omega 6’ is officially coming to Nintendo Switch in July Omega 6, the first video game from Star Fox and F-Zero artist Takaya Imamura since he left Nintendo in 2021, will be released for Nintendo Switch in Japan on July 25. The news was shared by the game’s ********* publisher City Connection via a live stream on Tuesday, along with the game’s final name: ‘Omega 6: The Triangle Stars’. The game – which is a text-based adventure with 16-bit graphics – will be released alongside the ********* version of the Omega 6 manga – previously released in French – as part of a special edition, which will also include a soundtrack download, manual and poster. There was no news on a Western release for Omega 6, but VGC has asked co-publisher Clear River Games for an update. Imamura, who left Nintendo in 2021 after three decades, is leading the art direction and graphics for the game, which is an adaptation of his debut manga, Omega 6. Developed by Happymeal and Pleocene, the game will feature a soundtrack by Shinobu Amayake, another former Nintendo employee perhaps best known for composing the music to Stunt Race FX. Speaking exclusively to VGC last year, Imamura explained the similarities between Omega 6 and Star Fox. “Story-wise, it’s different, but the style I draw, which is like a ‘retro future’, is similar,” he said. “That’s the only thing I can draw – that’s my style – so I didn’t change it! I’ve always wanted to draw manga with this style, so I just applied it from my past games.” This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up #Star #Fox #artists #Omega #officially #coming #Nintendo #Switch #July This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Link to comment https://hopzone.eu/forums/topic/9842-star-fox-artist%E2%80%99s-%E2%80%98omega-6%E2%80%99-is-officially-coming-to-nintendo-switch-in-july/ Share on other sites
