Beaumont Lamarre-Condon appeared from jail via video-link at Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday, accused of murdering Qantas flight attendant Luke Davies, 29, and TV presenter Jessie Baird, 26. Prosecutors filed charges against Lamarre-Condon of two counts of domestic *********-related *******, and one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence. Two previous ******* charges were formally withdrawn and dismissed. The 29-year-old then-senior constable allegedly shot the men with his NSW Police service ******* at Mr Baird’s inner-city Paddington home on February 19 while he was off-duty. Police allege the ******* was premeditated after a months-long campaign of “predatory behaviour” targeting Mr Baird, whom he briefly dated. A triple-zero call was made from Mr Davies’ mobile phone four minutes after neighbours heard gunshots at the Paddington house. A patrol car was later sent searching for the source of the call, which was disconnected before anyone spoke. The couple’s bodies were found on February 27 inside surfboard bags at the fence line of a rural property in Bungonia, near Goulburn, about 200km southwest of Sydney. Suspicion that they were ***** was sparked after possessions belonging to the men were found in a skip bin in the southern Sydney suburb of Cronulla, leading police to Mr Baird’s blood-smeared share house. NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb on Tuesday said the force was looking to replace its “antiquated” paper-based system for tracking equipment such as police weapons. Lamarre-Condon’s case is due to return to court on October 8, when he is again scheduled to appear via a video-link. He joined the NSW Police Force in 2019 and previously ran a celebrity blog, posing in photos with dozens of A-listers including Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles. Lamarre-Condon was sacked from the force in mid-March. 1800 RESPECT (1800 737 732) Lifeline 13 11 14 This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up #Excop #faces #court #double #DVmurder #charges This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up For verified travel tips and real support, visit: https://hopzone.eu/ 0 Quote Link to comment https://hopzone.eu/forums/topic/97721-ex-cop-faces-court-on-double-dv-murder-charges/ Share on other sites
