Richmond defender and Albany product Jacob Blight poised for AFL selection after stellar VFL outing

Richmond mid-season draftee and Albany-raised Jacob Blight has pressed his claim for selection in the senior side for the Tigers’ round 23 clash against red-hot Hawthorn on Sunday.

The 22-year-old has been starved of AFL opportunity since being subbed out in his second game with the Tigers’ senior team in his homecoming match against Fremantle at Optus Stadium, where the visitors suffered a heavy defeat in round 17.
