Grant Williams mulls Quokka bid after encouraging return of Western Empire

WA’s leading trainer Grant Williams was given much to think about with the encouraging return of Western Empire at Tuesday’s Belmont trials, leaving him to muse over a Quokka bid.

Western Empire jumped economically, with jockey William Pike attempting to settle him in fourth place around 3-4L from leader Baby Paris.
