7 Days to **** and 5 Other Zombie Games You Need to Play

The gaming community was blown away by the massive success of 7 Days to **** which reignited the zombie games’ popularity. Not many video games featuring zombies can provide an exhilarating experience as players run for dear life while fighting the undead with whatever is lying around.

The concept has been explored in almost every media, the undead has been around for quite some time. It is a different experience sitting on a couch at home or in a theater with a full house than having a controller at hand fighting to survive and here are 5 other great zombie games to pass the time.

6. The Last of Us Part 1 and 2

Naughty Dog dipped its toes in the zombie genre. Neil Druckmann introduced Joel Miller and Ellie Williams to the world in 2013 and has written a unique story about finding purpose in a world torn by the Cordyceps virus that transformed the population into zombie-like creatures

The premise was about finding a cure to help restore the world but throughout their journey, Joel restored his humanity at the cost of Ellie’s great purpose. The sequel romanticized the themes of ********* and gore that led her to a dark path that would fuel her thirst for vengeance on those who wronged her loved ones.

5. Resident Evil

The fans of the beloved horror franchise are enjoying the recent remakes of classic games. The franchise is renowned for its third-person and first-person shooter gameplay featuring dozens of iconic characters and zombie variants and has become a staple in the gaming industry.

Capcom has been consistent with the more recent entries in the mainline series. Players have grown accustomed to the unique structure of unlocking attachments for firearms and good loot as they rid the world of zombies one at a time.

4. World War Z

Brad Pitt gave Saber Interactive a run for their money after featuring hordes of zombies on the big screen. The game is not directly connected to the film’s plot; however, the developers decided to use familiar locations and overwhelm a squad of players with the undead rushing toward them.

The game requires teamwork and coordination to accomplish certain objectives and is the perfect game to play with friends under the pressure of being overrun in minutes. Players can set up defenses and carry different weapons to help them stand a chance against the undead.

The zombie game is being praised for the recent ports on modern gaming consoles. Players can establish a base of operations and collect resources and supplies to improve their chances of surviving natural conditions apart from the zombies.

The intense nature of the game will encourage players to think outside the box and do what they must to survive. Resource management is essential to staying alive and live to ****** another day

2. Telltale’s The Walking *****

The Walking ***** franchise has been the face of the zombie genre and has dominated comic books and television screens. Telltale had a different approach and set each project within the comic book universe rather than the more popular live-action television series.

The games had unique art styles and unlike most zombie games, player choices dictate what happens next. The gaming community was heartbroken to see Lee **** as Clementine left him to fulfill his dying wish of surviving in a world overrun by walkers.

Bend Studio got the short end of the stick after the game ******* to meet Sony’s expectations. Director John Garvin claims that a Days Gone sequel would have been guaranteed if the game received more positive reviews at launch.

The game launched on the PlayStation 4 and ******* to deliver a smooth experience with the trademark zombie horde feature. The developers patched the game and is now optimized for the PlayStation 5 and PC and players are having the time of their lives fighting a horde of freaks.
