(FOX 5/KUSI) — The National Weather Service reported a strong thunderstorm with heavy rain and hail in the Julian area Sunday afternoon. Around 1:30 p.m., weather officials issued a severe thunderstorm warning for some mountain areas in San Diego County, specifically the areas of Warner Springs, Oak Grove, Santa Ysabel, Lake Henshaw, Palomar Mountain and the La Jolla Indian Reservation.
