The poll shows Labor’s primary vote decreased by one point to 32 per cent while the coalition’s increased by one to 39 since July 21. The primary vote for minor parties and independents was up one point to 11 per cent, with the Greens’ primary vote falling one point to 12 per cent. Support for One Nation was steady at six per cent. The survey registered a fall in the popularity of both Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Opposition Leader Peter Dutton. Voter satisfaction for Mr Albanese dropped one point to 43 per cent while satisfaction with Mr Dutton fell one point to 40 per cent. The bump is not enough to put the coalition in a winning position.
