In the ongoing “console wars” between Xbox and PlayStation, exclusives play a major role in attracting gamers to each platform and selling consoles. While PS has its own impressive lineup, there are several Xbox-exclusive titles that PS owners can’t help but wish they got a chance to play. 

These games, whether due to their graphical fidelity, ambitious scope, or simply the hype surrounding them, have left many PS users wishing they could experience them firsthand.

7. Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Halo is one of the most iconic franchises in the gaming world, and this collection combines all of the best campaigns in 4k 60fps. The multi-player for all the various included games is also great, giving PS fans a chance to relive the iconic era of this franchise. 

Its latest installment, Halo: Infinite, is also worth trying. While the campaign is serviceable but nothing to write home about, the multiplayer is expansive, fun, and addictive, with plenty of modes and variety. On a technical level, the game is very pretty, and the animations and sound design of the weapons just feel right.

Starfield, Bethesda’s ambitious space RPG, didn’t quite live up to the hype but is still worth playing at least once. As an Xbox exclusive, it has PS fans feeling a bit left out of getting the chance to explore brand-new locations in a Bethesda game.

While not everyone’s cup of tea, the blend of science-fiction storytelling and a few interesting locations makes this game highly anticipated for many gamers who are eager to see for themselves what Bethesda has crafted.

While being rather restrictive and linear from a gameplay perspective, the breathtaking visuals, photorealistic fidelity, and immense details make it a must-play. Since PS fans do love narrative-driven experiences, they are pretty eager to try this one out.

Gears 5 is the latest entry in the Gears of War series, known for its intense third-person shooter gameplay and some iconic characters. This game takes the series in a new direction with a few semi-open world areas and some great multiplayer modes. 

The stunning graphics and smooth gameplay make this worth playing, along with the rest of the Gears franchise. PS lacks the type of cooperative experiences that this game offers. The Hivebuster DLC is equally amazing as well.

The dynamic weather system and seamless multiplayer add to the game’s appeal. Although PS fans do have an amazing racing game, Gran Turismo 7, Forza is more casual and arcadey compared to the more intricate GT7, and worth playing all the same.

The game is set in a city overrun by mutant creatures, and players must use a variety of weapons and acrobatic moves to survive. The game’s unique style and fast-paced gameplay have made it a cult favorite among Xbox players.
