Games Workshop promised a sequel to the cinematic, and people have been waiting a long time. It’s been years since then, and there’s been no news. Pedersen is seemingly working on other projects and is heading his own studio, according to his LinkedIn. So what happened to the Astartes sequel?

It especially stings seeing as how so many people were looking forward to the Loyalist Space Marine Chapter being included in the game.

Pedersen’s animation did an amazing job of highlighting this faction and giving them the attention they deserve. There is so much lore to explore, and many aspects that are intriguing, like this origin story.

It’s intimidating to blindly ***** into the franchise, but fans like Pedersen who help introduce fans to these concepts and ease them into this rich universe.
