Η Ελληνική Ολυμπιακή Επιτροπή ανακοίνωσε ότι στην Τελετή Λήξης των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων “Παρίσι 2024”, οι σημαιοφόροι της ελληνικής αποστολής θα είναι ο Εμμανουήλ Καραλής και η Ευαγγελία Πλατανιώτη. Ο Καραλής κατέκτησε το χάλκινο μετάλλιο στο άλμα επί κοντώ, ενώ η Πλατανιώτη κατέλαβε την 6η θέση στην 4η της συμμετοχή σε Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες. Η Τελετή Λήξης θα λάβει χώρα στο Stade de France στις 11/08 στις 22.00 ώρας Ελλάδος. Η Team Hellas θα αναχωρήσει τη Δευτέρα στις 14.00 με πτήση της AEGEAN και θα φτάσει στην Αθήνα στις 17.10. Η ανακοίνωση αυτή έγινε στο πλαίσιο της προετοιμασίας της αποστολής για τη συμμετοχή της στους επερχόμενους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες.
