Η Ελληνίδα αθλήτρια Ελίνα Τζένγκο κατέλαβε την 9η θέση στον τελικό του ακοντισμού στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες 2024. Στις δηλώσεις της μετά τον αγώνα, ανέφερε ότι δεν κατάφερε να συγκρατηθεί και παρασύρθηκε, παρόλο που είχε ξεκινήσει καλά. Εξέφρασε την απογοήτευσή της για την απώλεια μιας θέσης που θα την έφερνε στην οκτάδα, αναφέροντας ότι έχει πολλές δυνατότητες αλλά αντιμετωπίζει προβλήματα με το στρες και το άγχος. Παρά τη θλίψη της, ευχαρίστησε το Θεό που είναι υγιής και έφτασε μέχρι εκεί. Η Ελίνα αποκάλεσε την εμπειρία της ως τεράστια και ελπίζει ότι στο μέλλον θα είναι πιο ανταγωνιστική. Το βάρος των αγώνων τώρα της φεύγει και αυτό είναι η αιτία που δάκρυσε.
