Η Μάντσεστερ Σίτι κατάφερε να ισοφαρίσει το σκορ με τη Γιουνάιτεντ στον τελικό του Κομιούνιτι Σιλντ, κερδίζοντας στη συνέχεια στη διαδικασία των πέναλτι.
