Ο Δήμος Αθηναίων τίθεται σε κατάσταση επιφυλακής λόγω του υψηλού κινδύνου πυρκαγιάς στην περιοχή. Όλες οι υπηρεσίες του Δήμου θα βρίσκονται σε ετοιμότητα και επιφυλακή, με περιπολίες όλο το 24ωρο. Θα φυλάσσονται οι μεγάλοι χώροι πρασίνου της πόλης και ειδικά για τον λόφο Λυκαβηττού θα υπάρχει απαγόρευση κυκλοφορίας. Υδροφόρες θα είναι διαθέσιμες και η Δημοτική Αστυνομία θα χρησιμοποιήσει drones για τον έλεγχο των περιοχών πρασίνου. Ο Δήμος καλεί τους πολίτες να επιδείξουν προσοχή και να επικοινωνούν σε περίπτωση κινδύνου στον ειδικό αριθμό 1595. Η πηγή των πληροφοριών είναι η ΑΠΕ – ΜΠΕ.
