Man shot at hospital after threatening cops with ******

A man has been shot by police in Queensland after threatening them with a ******.

Police were called to Kingaroy Hospital at 7.20pm on Friday.

On arrival, a man allegedly threatened officers with a ****** and was subsequently shot by officers.

Medical assistance was provided to the man before he was flown to the Sunshine Coast Hospital.

A ****** scene was established and investigations are continuing.

The matter is under investigation subject to oversight by the ****** and *********** Commission.

Police have asked for anyone with information to contact ****** Stoppers.
