Η αστυνομία της Τσεχίας διεξάγει έρευνα εναντίον ομάδων νέων που εντοπίζουν παιδόφιλους online και στη συνέχεια τους επιτίθενται ή τους εκβιάζουν. Οι “κυνηγοί παιδόφιλων” υποδύονται παιδιά για να έρθουν σε επαφή με παιδόφιλους και να τους επιτεθούν. Καταγράφουν τις συναντήσεις τους και τα δημοσιεύουν online. Η αστυνομία συνεργάζεται με την Europol για την υπόθεση και αναφέρει παρόμοιες ομάδες σε όλη την Ευρώπη. Οι “κυνηγοί παιδόφιλων” παρουσιάζονται ως προστάτες της κοινωνίας, αλλά η αστυνομία ερευνά τις δραστηριότητές τους για διάφορα αδικήματα. Η όλη υπόθεση αποκαλύφθηκε από την αστυνομία της Τσεχίας, με πηγή της ανακοίνωσης να είναι η APE.
