Ο Ισπανός αθλητής Αλεχάντρο Φόρτουν Ντίαθ κατέκτησε το πρώτο χρυσό μετάλλιο για την Ισπανία στο στίβο στο “Παρίσι 2024”, με επίδοση 17,86 μέτρα. Ακολούθησε ο Πέδρο Πισάρντο από την Πορτογαλία με ασημένιο μετάλλιο και τρίτος ήταν ο Άντι Ερνάντες Ντίας από την Ιταλία με χάλκινο μετάλλιο. Στην τέταρτη θέση βρέθηκε ο Τζέιντον Χίμπερτ από την Τζαμάικα, ακολουθούμενος από τον Φαμπρίς Ζανγκό από το Μπουρκίνα Φάσο στην πέμπτη θέση. Ο Αμερικανός Σαλίφ Μανέ βρέθηκε στην έκτη θέση, με τον Γερμανό Μαξ Ες να ακολουθεί στην εβδομάδα θέση. Την κορυφαία δεκάδα έκλεισε ο Λαζάρο Μαρτίνες από το Κούβα. Οι αθλητές προσέφεραν μια συναρπαστική αγωνιστική εμπειρία, με τον Φόρτουν Ντίαθ να ξεχωρίζει για την εξαιρετική του επίδοση.
