Ένα σοκαριστικό τροχαίο σημειώθηκε στην Τουρκία, όταν ένα λεωφορείο καρφώθηκε σε γέφυρα αυτοκινητόδρομου κοντά στην Άγκυρα, με αποτέλεσμα να σκοτωθούν εννέα άνθρωποι και να τραυματιστούν 26. Σύμφωνα με τις αρχές, ο οδηγός είχε αποκοιμηθεί και δεν είχε προσπαθήσει να φρενάρει. Ένα προηγούμενο τραγωδίας με λεωφορείο είχε σημειωθεί τον περασμένο Μάιο, όταν 10 άνθρωποι έχασαν τη ζωή τους και 40 τραυματίστηκαν λόγω σύγκρουσης λεωφορείου, αυτοκινήτων και φορτηγού σε αυτοκινητόδρομο κοντά στη Μερσίνα. Οι τροχαίοι συμβάντια με λεωφορεία είναι αρκετά συχνά στην Τουρκία και προκαλούν ανησυχία στην κοινωνία. Οι αρχές έχουν ξεκινήσει έρευνα για το συγκεκριμένο τροχαίο, ενώ η κοινή γνώμη αναρωτιέται για τα μέτρα που πρέπει να ληφθούν προκειμένου να αποφευχθούν παρόμοια ατυχήματα στο μέλλον.
