Whoever heralded Garrison Restaurant and Bar up on Mt Clarence as one of Albany’s best restaurants needs to be put in the stockade. Or perhaps a stint below deck in the Brig Amity replica docked down on Princess Royal Harbour would help clear their mind.

Based on my family’s recent experience enduring a Monday service, Garrison is far from shipshape as a fine-diner despite setting sail almost a decade ago.
