West Australians are facing a virus ‘tripledemic’ — a triple whammy of influenza, COVID and RSV — in coming months as experts warn health services are bracing themselves for a difficult winter ahead.

The mix of viruses, which are especially dangerous for children and at-risk adults, created some of the worst flu seasons on record in the northern hemisphere, which often foretells what will happen in Australia.
