It’s becoming more commonplace for video game developers to produce three or four versions of their game, each increasingly more expensive, to entice fans to part ways with more money. In exchange, you often receive a few in-game goodies, maybe a digital art book or, as of late, early access. So, what’s included in the Space Marine 2 Ultra Edition?

Everything in the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Ultra Edition

There are four available versions of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2: Standard, Gold, Ultra, and Collector’s Edition. The latter is a physical-only edition that offers many bonuses, like a gore-filled statue of an Ultramarine tearing apart a Tyranid. It’s gorgeous! But we’re here to discuss the Space Marine 2 Ultra Edition, which includes:

• Pre-Order Bonus: Macragge’s Chosen DLC
  • Ultramarines-Inspired Skin: Bolt Rifle
  • Ultramarines-Inspired Skin: Chainsword
  • Crux Terminatus Pauldron
• Pre-Order Bonus: 4-Day Early Unlock
• Season Pass
• Ultramarines Champion Pack

It’s unclear precisely what’s included in the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Season Pass, as developer Saber Interactive has yet to reveal post-launch content for the game. However, we expect plenty of cosmetics for the cooperative and multiplayer modes.

When Does the Space Marine 2 Early Unlock Start?

While it’s a shame the gaming industry has stooped to this level, selling an early unlock as part of a pre-order bonus, many will gleefully eat up the content before everyone else. If you’re among the many pre-ordering the game, and hey, there’s no shame in doing so because this is, of course, Warhammer 40,000, then you can play on September 5.

For those who don’t pre-order Space Marine 2, it unlocks September 9.
