The Cat Quest games aren’t genre-defining RPGs, but they are cozy little adventures with gorgeous 2.5D graphics that feel like the video game equivalent of comfort food. There’s nothing wrong with a by-the-numbers adventure, especially when it has some cathartic grinding and a lot of puns revolving around cats and dogs. This little collection includes 2017’s Cat Quest, the 2019 sequel Cat Quest 2, and the newly released Cat Quest 3.
