Ο Εργκίν και ο Σαρπ Αταμάν παραχώρησαν μια συνέντευξη σε τουρκικό μέσο ενώ μίλησαν για το Ολυμπιακό τουρνουά μπάσκετ. Ο Εργκίν ανέφερε ότι δεν υποστηρίζει καμία από τις ομάδες των ημιτελικών και εξέφρασε ευχές για καλή τύχη. Επίσης, ανέφερε και τον παίκτη του Παναθηναϊκού, Ματίας Λεσόρ, που αγωνίζεται με την εθνική ομάδα της Γαλλίας. Ο Σαρπ Αταμάν μοιράστηκε μια ιστορία σχετικά με τον Λεσόρ και ένα ζευγάρι γυαλιά που του είχε υποσχεθεί ως δώρο. Επίσης, ο ίδιος εξέφρασε τον σκοπό του να γίνει προπονητής και να ξεπεράσει τον πατέρα του, δηλώνοντας ότι θα δουλέψει σκληρά για αυτό. Με αυτές τις δηλώσεις, δείχνουν την αφοσίωσή τους στον χώρο του μπάσκετ και τις φιλοδοξίες τους για το μέλλον.
