, the Fortnite team announced a Disney D23 livestream is coming exclusively to Fortnite on August 10, 2024, with all-new reveals. It begins at 11:30 PM eastern time, and doors open at 10:30 PM eastern time.

Fans who miss the stream can still view a loop of the Disney Horizons Live from D23 until August 16. However, those who do attend the event will get a “Peelverine Plush” Back Bling and XP on August 16.

Players only need to “visit the island for 10 minutes” to earn this content. The Peelverine Plush cosmetic blends the classic Peely character with Wolverine, very timely after the enormous success of the Deadpool & Wolverine film.

Today’s blog does mention that the Peelverine Plush is not exclusive to the livestream, “as it may be purchasable in the Shop at a later date.”

The new post also says the Disney livestream coming to Fortnite will be “presented live from Josh D’Amaro and a few special guests.”

It did not confirm any of those guests, though they might relate to Marvel given the Wolverine-themed cosmetic. Fortnite recently added other Deadpool & Wolverine content, previously leaked in July.

Most recently, the Fortnite team announced that new Battle Pass items may no longer remain exclusive. Those items can now potentially return to the Shop “18 or more months” after a future Battle Pass expires.
