Η μειωμένη δραστηριότητα του ιού που προκαλεί τη λοίμωξη Covid-19 καταγράφεται στην Ελλάδα την περασμένη εβδομάδα. Η θετικότητα στα ελεγχθέντα δείγματα παρέμεινε σταθερή, ενώ ο αριθμός των νέων εισαγωγών και διασωληνώσεων μειώθηκε. Ωστόσο, ο αριθμός των θανάτων αυξήθηκε, με την ανάγκη για επίσπευση θεραπείας στις ευάλωτες ομάδες. Παράλληλα, η αυξητική τάση της μετάλλαξης ΒΑ.2.86 προκαλεί ανησυχία, αλλά δεν έχει συσχετιστεί με σοβαρή νόσο. Επίσης, καταγράφηκαν επιπλέον θάνατοι από τον ιό του Δυτικού Νείλου, με αύξηση των κρουσμάτων στη χώρα. Ο κοινός πληθυσμός καλείται να τηρεί μέτρα πρόληψης και να περιορίζει τις επαφές του με τις ευάλωτες ομάδες. Συνολικά, η κατάσταση παραμένει επικίνδυνη και χρειάζεται συνεχή προσοχή και προστασία από την κοινότητα.
