Η Rheinmetall ανέφερε αύξηση στις πωλήσεις της κατά ένα τρίτο στα 3,8 δισ. ευρώ και σημαντική αύξηση των λειτουργικών κερδών της στα 404 εκατ. ευρώ κατά το πρώτο εξάμηνο του έτους. Η αποτυχία του σχεδίου δολοφονίας του CEO της εταιρείας από τις ρωσικές μυστικές υπηρεσίες δεν επηρέασε την αυξημένη δραστηριότητα της. Η μεγαλύτερη παραγγελία της ήταν από τον γερμανικό στρατό για τεθωρακισμένα Boxer αξίας 2,2 δισ. ευρώ. Ο CEO της Rheinmetall προβλέπει ότι οι πωλήσεις θα συνεχίσουν να αυξάνονται σημαντικά τα επόμενα έτη και υπογραμμίζει την έντονη ζήτηση στον τομέα των αμυντικών δαπανών λόγω του πολέμου στην Ουκρανία. Η εταιρεία βρίσκεται σε θέση ανάπτυξης και αποδεικνύει την ικανότητά της να αντιμετωπίζει με επιτυχία τις αυξημένες απαιτήσεις της αγοράς.
