Dog and Owner Reunited After a Year and 350 Miles Apart

No distance is too far for woman’s best friend! After being separated from her pup for almost a year, Bianca Joseph finally reunited with her dog Boe on August 6 in Edinburg, Texas, after officers found him 350 miles away.

Officers located Joseph in Humble, Texas, by using the information from Boe’s microchip.

In footage shared by the City of Edinburg, Boe is unable to contain his excitement at first hearing Joseph calling to him.

Joseph recounted her feelings when she lost Boe saying she “never thought it would take this long and never knew if [she’d] see him again,” and urged others to get their pets microchipped. Credit: City of Edinburg via Storyful
