Oxygen Esports Crumbles, Taking Boston Breach With It

Recent reports have surfaced online pointing to a total breakdown at Oxygen Esports, the Kraft Sports-backed organisation that fields teams in a range of titles, including Call of Duty, Apex Legends, and VALORANT. It’s the parent company to the Call of Duty League’s Boston Breach, which this season put up one of the worst performances we’ve seen in the history of COD esports.

Lots of details are up in the air at present, but according to sources, Oxygen is laying off all staff and shutting down operations – this should, by association, also pull down Boston Breach, which is due to compete at the Esports World Cup in just a few days.

, it was confirmed by Boston Breach’s players that they’ve been ‘kicked out’ of the training facility operated by Kraft Sports at Patriot Place. They’ll still fly to Riyadh to compete in the Esports World Cup, but after that, the future is uncertain.
