that the veteran reporter’s show, Under Investigation with Liz Hayes, was “under review” and would soon be axed as part of widespread budget cuts and redundancies.

Staff at the network told the Daily Mail they were shocked by the decision, which came in the wake of her being nominated for a Silver Logie for her role on the show.

“If that’s what they feel comfortable doing to Liz Hayes’ show, then nothing is out of bounds,” staff said.
