, the Fortnite team announced that future Battle Pass items may no longer remain exclusive. They can now release in the Item Shop after a set ******* of time.

Today’s post explains that items in upcoming Battle Passes “may be offered for purchase in the Shop after 18 or more months from a Battle Pass’ expiration.”

Any type of item might enter the Shop later on, including Outfits, Back Blings, Pickaxes, and more. However, not all items are guaranteed to return, and the team says “we’ll let you know” if an item will never be available again.

Items in future Fortnite Battle Passes may be offered for purchase in the Shop after 18 or more months from a Battle Pass’ expiration.

When Battle Pass items enter the shop, it may not include the alt Styles, either. Fans can always expect to see LEGO Styles when a Battle Pass item returns.

Today’s blog further confirms that Battle Pass benefits will stay the same, and items earnable from Battle Pass Quests can also appear in the Shop later on.

The Fortnite team explained that “this change lets us continue investing in new and exciting Battle Pass rewards.” They also specifically mention they want players to later access “outfits based on popular licensed characters.”

Fortnite currently has no plans to introduce any pricing changes for future Battle Passes. This is a smart move after Apex Legends faced serious backlash over its own Battle Pass overhaul.

Fortnite recently released a major update, as well as a collaboration with Fall Guys.
