Σε μια περιπέτεια στη Θεσσαλονίκη, αρχές του Αυγούστου 2024, ανακαλύφθηκε μια φυτεία με 1.000 δενδρύλλια κάνναβης σε ένα δάσος. Τέσσερις άνθρωποι συνελήφθησαν και τους είχε “συλληφθεί ένα πλήρωμα έρευνας”. Νωρίτερα οι αρχές είχαν τοποθετήσει σε ένα σημείο παρατημένη μια κλούβα, από την οποία του μασκοφόρους λήστες. Όπως ανακοινώθηκε, λίγο πριν τη σύλληψη τους είχαν στήσει και μια σκηνή για να φυλάξουν τη φυτεία τους. Οι κατηγορούμενοι φαίνεται να είναι μέρος μιας οργανωμένης εγκληματικής ομάδας που είχε θεσπίσει αυτή τη φυτεία κάνναβης. Η ανάπτυξη και το εμπόριο ναρκωτικών αποτελεί σοβαρό έγκλημα και οι αρχές ερευνούν περαιτέρω για τυχόν συνέχεια της υπόθεσης.
