Childcare educators get two-year bumper pay rise as Federal Government backs 15 per cent raise for sector

Childcare educators will get a much-needed $103 weekly pay boost from December and a second one 12 months later after the Federal Government backed a 15 per cent wage rise for the sector.

The pay increase will be tied to childcare centres promising not to increase fees by more than 4.4 per cent for the next year to make sure parents are not slugged.
